Becky comes from Pittsburgh, PA where she did her 200 hour teacher training at Yoga on the Square. Her teacher training was deeply rooted in alignment and anatomy, which complemented her interest in the medical field. She is finishing up her master’s degree in occupational therapy and will pursue a specialty in hand therapy.
She was drawn to yoga as a mind-body practice, as so much of her schooling was body focused. After just a few yoga classes she knew she wanted to become a teacher to share this amazing practice.
As an occupational therapist, she is pursuing a career with the Navy to work with currently deployed sailors and veterans, and she hopes to incorporate yoga as a part of the therapeutic process.
What inspires her most about yoga is the power to bring about real change in one's life.
