Franchesca’s journey into yoga began a little over 6 years ago with a yoga DVD and a beach towel as a mat. Immediately drawn to the physical benefits of the practice, she became increasingly curious about the idea of becoming a teacher – little did she know what was in store for her. In the spring of 2015, she decided to take the next step in her journey and enter into the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification at Aananda School of Yoga, in what she describes as a “life changing” experience for her. It was during this training that she became aware of the elements of the practice beyond the asana, developing a true passion and love for the practice and the desire to share this knowledge with as many people as possible. Since then, Franchesca has continued her studies by attending various workshops studying anatomy, chakra work, yin yoga, sequencing and theming, and Vedic Thai bodywork. In 2017, she received her 500 hour Yoga Teaching Certification through Yoga Journey in Boca Raton. “Forever a student”, Franchesca is constantly looking for ways to expand her knowledge of yoga not only for her personal practice, but for her students as well.
Franchesca believes in the idea that yoga is for everyone. She encourages every student to approach their practice from where they are and to embrace their own beautifully unique expression of the practice in a safe and effective way. In her classes, she interweaves the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of the practice in hopes that her students are inspired to live yoga beyond the four corners of the mat.
