Rachel began practicing yoga in 2013, as a way to find solace during her university studies. She quickly fell in love with the practice, and explored many different types of yoga. Under the guidance of a well rounded yoga teacher training at Caribe Yoga Academy, (lead by the wonderful Avani Gilbert) she finally took the next step in fulfilling her dharma by becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher. Rachel spent the last year (2018-2019) living in Costa Rica; teaching yoga, enjoying the abundant rainforest, and surfing in the Caribbean sea. Her focus is on creating an intentional practice by instilling mindfulness, along with the unity of breath and movement. Rachel's sequences have a uniquely constructed variety of balance work, inversions, and alignment oriented asana. She enjoys sharing creative, fun flows which allow her radiant personality to shine through. In her free time, you can find her at the beach, or dancing to her favorite songs. Rachel loves to spread light and love through the practice of yoga, both on and off the mat.
